Core Responsibilities:
  • Develop foundational infrastructure technologies within both public and private cloud environments.
  • Design, configure, optimize, manage, monitor, document, and support platform services and components, including enterprise data ingestion.

  • Engage in design discussions and code evaluations to enhance engineering quality across the organization.
  • Lead the implementation of new features and innovations within existing tools.
  • Drive the acquisition and utilization of new software solutions.

  • Provide advanced system administration, operational support, and troubleshooting for a complex cloud computing environment, while developing scripts for resource stack deployment and configuration.
  • Extend standard system management processes into the cloud, including change, incident, and problem management.
  • Create and maintain a library of deployable, tested, and documented automation design scripts, processes, and procedures.
  • Facilitate DevOps development activities and complex tasks involving a variety of tools and container management systems.
  • Coordinate with application experts and other infrastructure teams to identify optimal solutions for capacity, security, and performance issues.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD solutions, creating code deployment models to support self-service automation.
Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in DevOps data platform development.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code concepts and tools (e.g., ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible) for automating resource provisioning and configuration.
  • Experience with container orchestration and deployment using tools such as Docker and AKS.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., GitHub).
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, particularly within the Azure DevOps framework and tools.
  • Solid knowledge of networking concepts (DNS/DHCP/Firewalls/Sub-netting, etc.), preferably in Azure.
  • Proficient scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, JavaScript, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and observability concepts and tools.
  • Extensive experience and a solid grasp of cloud and infrastructure components.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex DevOps platform issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with developer tools across the software development lifecycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in infrastructure and/or software development.
  • 3+ years of experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, or another cloud service (Azure preferred).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Bonus Skills:
Experience with Kafka and/or MongoDB.
