Construction Purchasing Manager

  • Job type: Direct Hire
  • Location: Harrisonburg
  • Schedule: 7am-5pm
  • Compensation: $80-85k
  • 10% annual bonus potential based on company and inpidual performance.

**MUST have experience working within the construction industry**

  • Ability to use operating system to pull reports to ensure proper inventory is maintained at all locations
  • Work with vendors to negotiate best price and optimize rebate dollars - always
  • Understand market trends/seasonality/historical data to make educated decisions on inventory levels
  • Utilize company assets to maximize logistic efficiency to move product internally
  • Five years or greater experience required
  • 1 to 2 direct reports
  • Some travel is required to visit locations
