SCFF is currently seeking:

  • Program Specialist for our Residential IDD Program here in the Pittsburgh area.
  • Annual Salary of $50,000 to $55,000 depending on education and experience levels
  • Also includes a $1000 sign on bonus and UNLIMITED Referral Bonuses of $1000

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor's Degree with two (2) years of experience in the IDD field, or an Associate's Degree with four (4) years of IDD experience is required.
  • Knowledge of 6400/6500 regulations is a plus, but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES - The Program Specialist will:

  • THIS is NOT a full time desk job. This position requires to be out in the field at our locations conducting spot checks/quality reviews and providing immediate feedback.
  • This position also includes direct care and supervising Direct Care Staff – PCs/APCs/RSs
  • Skills needed: Strong Leadership, strong work ethic, attention to details, ability to create a team environment and encourage accountability and responsiveness
  • Oversight of 10 CLAs, 20-25 clients and their needs
  • Provide full support to PCs - train, develop, coach/supervise PCs – set expectations, create a teaming environment and provide the support to drive success
  • Visit clients at home regularly:
    • perform spot checks on Clients’ needs (appts, medications, Physical Sites, Daily Logs)
    • uncover areas of opportunities and brainstorm with the team on how to address issues, gaps.
    • ensure best practices are uncovered and implemented to drive improvements
    • compare hours worked vs hours budgeted to ensure we are in alignment with Company goals/KPIs – address any discrepancies
  • Support team with Call Offs/Schedule Gaps
  • Review/Approve Program Coordinators Timecards
  • Conduct Weekly Calls with PCs – uncover best practices, uncover their pain points, work together to address them
  • Function with autonomy, diplomacy and professionalism within the guidelines established by this organization.
  • Promote the well-being of the human aspect of this organization and report any concerns to the Regional Director.
  • Function with the highest esteem in dealing with all employees, supervisors, consumer's stakeholders of this organization.
  • Be an advocate for all of the policies and protocols of the organization.
  • Observes all 6400 (Residential) regulations.
