Summary

The person in this position is responsible for maintaining service operations by inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-year experience as a body metal technician (preferred).
  • Ability to finish jobs in a timely manner.
  • Must bring your own tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • I-CAR Training may be required as needed.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Automotive Body Technician / Responsibilities:

  • Repair vehicle per estimate according to manufacturer's standards.
  • Check parts against estimates.
  • Prepare vehicle for body and repair work.
  • Notify management of any additional repairs or difficulties with the repairs.
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in a proper state of repairs.
  • Comply with law and regulations pertaining to hazardous waste materials.
