Diesel Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Transdev. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles, including Gillig buses and heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections
- Diagnose and repair vehicle and equipment issues, including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions
- Ensure work orders are completed accurately and efficiently
- Assist with road calls and emergency services as needed
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement required (or must be obtained within 90 days of employment)
- At least 5 years of automotive or diesel maintenance and repair experience or a combination of technical school education and experience
- ASE certifications required; must be willing to participate in company ASE certification program
What We Offer:
- $45 - $48 per hour based on experience and qualifications
- Up to $4,000 sign-on bonus
- Four 10-hour work days per week
