The Role

The Jewelry Designer is responsible for developing new concepts and ideas that will enhance the brand’s jewelry line. The role will work closely with our merchandise & design team and contribute from the concept to development process. Qualified candidate must present a portfolio of previous work and be willing to demonstrate skills by creating a custom design as part of the screening process.

This is a fulltime, in-office position with regular work hours of 9-5:30pm. There may be weekend hours during peak business period from Thanksgiving to Christmas. The qualified candidate should have previous accessory design experience, an ability to multi-task and shift direction quickly. Positive-minded, team player who enjoys working with a small team and is willing to expand responsibilities according to company needs.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the merchandise and design team to execute seasonal design concepts from conception to prototype.

• Partner with the merchandise and design team to elaborate and expand design concepts and coordinate seasonal concepts, materials, and hardware.

• Research seasonal trends and develop new design concepts based on the trends to enhance the brand’s image in the market

• Assist in creation of technical packages and specs to send to factories

• Liaise with cross-functional partners in the product development process

• Organize presentation boards and present design concepts to internal partners

• May assist with personalization design & production during busy seasons

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years' experience working in jewelry design (gold, silver and diamond experience a plus)

• Demonstrated working experience in Photoshop, Illustrator and 3D Software

• Excellent communication & presentation skills

• Acute attention to detail

• Adaptable and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential

• Practical problem- solver, highly organized and self-motivated

• Great people skills
