Overview

As a Cook 3, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes that meet our exacting standards. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our guests' dining experience, maintaining the reputation we have built over years of dedicated service.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and Cook: Execute menu items with precision, maintaining consistency and quality in line with established recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Quality Control: Monitor ingredients and finished products to ensure compliance with our standards and health regulations.
  • Station Management: Oversee specific sections of the kitchen during service, ensuring efficiency and timely delivery of dishes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to refine dishes, contribute to menu development, and maintain a cohesive kitchen operation.
  • Training and Development: Mentor junior kitchen staff, sharing knowledge and techniques to elevate overall team performance.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing kitchen inventory, including receiving, storage, and rotation of ingredients.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.


Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a high-volume, upscale kitchen environment. Proven track record in executing complex dishes with an emphasis on quality and creativity.
  • Skills: Proficiency in various cooking techniques, knife skills, and familiarity with kitchen equipment. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
  • Education: Culinary degree or equivalent professional training is preferred.
  • Attributes: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for culinary arts. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented atmosphere.
