INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR/ONSITE STAFF

Boston & Cape Cod, MA and Newport, RI

 

The Independent Contractor/Onsite Staff thrives working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Our main goal at CSI DMC is to service the client's needs promptly, courteously, and completely while creating an exceptional experience, every time. IC’s are an integral part of the team and assist in making our client’s visions a reality.  The Independent Contractor/Onsite Staff will report directly to the Event Managers that will be running specific programs.

IC’s will fulfill on site tasks as directed by the EM, such as registration-desk support, transportation services for airport arrival/departure meet and greets, on-site tour support and tour transportation, event setup and tear down, restaurant advancing, and any other tasks as prescribed by the Event Manager. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as an extension of the Event Management team helping to create exceptional client experiences.
  • Exude positive energy, be a good listener and active participant.
  • Follow and abide by company policies.
  • Follow instructions and direction from EM for successful execution of events.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Some light lifting (25 lbs or less), ability to stand for extended periods of time (4-8 hours)
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and think on his/her feet.
  • Ability to resolve interpersonal situations.
  • Must be able to read, write & understand verbal instructions.
  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience is preferred.

 

HOURS: Flexible, primarily weekdays &weekday evenings, occasional weekends.

RATE: $30-$40 hour based on experience; Four-hour minimum per shift

This is a part-time, seasonal position.
