Our client would love someone in public accounting that has great exposure to a variety of client/industries and is ready for that next step

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements ensuring results are in compliance with GAAP.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close
  • Prepare Journal entries and analyze general ledger accounts
  • Perform variance analysis to understand trends and variances to financial plans
  • Work with various business partners to understand financial results and provided analytics as needed
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required
  • Lead process improvements to streamline workflow and improve accuracy of information
  • Develop accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Provide information to internal and external auditors and ensure internal controls are maintained

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of accounting related experience, with at least 2 years in public accounting
  • CPA certification strongly preferred
  • Experience with large ERP system
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • High amount of organization and experience with internal controls framework and monitoring

This position is HYBRID, and all candidates must reside within driving distance to Winston-Salem, NC, as in office work will be required 1-2 times/week. Please apply directly to this posting at www.banyansearch.com.
