MARC Community Resources, a non-profit organization serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, is seeking a qualified Recreation Coordinator.

The Recreation Coordinator assists in developing and maintaining recreational programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These programs are based throughout Middlesex County and includes specific programming for a Middletown and Shoreline program. This unique community-based program promotes wellness, independence, friendships, and fun while identifying and teaching a variety of skills needed for individuals to be successful in their communities. In addition, the Recreation Coordinator will assist in the planning and coordination of recreational activities in the Day and Vocational Programs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related human service field and/or;
  • Five (5) years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Highly organized and collaborative
  • Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft 365 including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint, Teams, and PowerPoint.
