SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:

Joint Test and Evaluation (JT&E) Test Planners: ANSER is seeking qualified test planners to provide test planning support for various projects selected and executed under the Joint Test & Evaluation program. The tests will address and optimize the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by CCMDs to conduct a wide range of critical tasks and missions. The test and evaluation process used to address each set of TTPs will be carried out by small teams of test planners, subject matter experts and operations research systems analysts while in regular coordination with government experts, operators and leadership. The end result of the tests, varying in duration from 6 months to 3 years will be an optimized TTPs which will be immediately implemented in the field.

Test Planners will:

  • Identify, prioritize, and validate operational test issues
  • Identify appropriate/rigorous test methods/venues
  • Coordinate with other Services and/or CCMDs to obtain personnel support, test equipment requirements, threat systems, test and training range schedules, and on-site instrumentation
  • Identify all possible test products such as TTP, CONOPS, and/or CONEMPS
  • Ensure that each test article has appropriate test measures and related data elements
  • Identify and understand the implications of potential test results on applicable doctrinal publications
  • Develop justification and supporting documentation for ultimate fielding and implementation of the test products

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Active Secret or Top-Secret security clearance (project dependent), or expiration of appropriate clearance within the past 2 years
  • Prior test and evaluation test development, scheduling, planning and/or execution experience and/or joint test & evaluation program experience
  • Strong interpersonal/social skills; proven staff officer/contractor support excellence
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in staffing, communication, and coordination efforts across commands, services, and/or Joint Staff

EDUCATION:

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an associate’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience

Location: Various CONUS/OCONUS

Pay Range: $90,000 to $160,000; based on qualifications. Salary information is a general guideline only. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements like security clearance.
