Web Specialist / Shopify Store Manager
Our company is going under a rebranding and see an opportunity to expand into the B2C market in window covering products and accessories. The original company was founded in 2001 and is headquartered in California with a satellite office in Georgia.

Overview


This position requires strong knowledge and experience with Shopify or in ecommerce. Maintain and make regular updates to Shopify store including SEO tags, product updates, page listings and inventory management. Online store management including shipping updates, vendor and customer communication. Excellent understanding of Shopify platform, design and digital applications. Must be able to interface with connected social platforms. Must have understanding of Shopify data analytics and strong creative design skills. Knowledge of Mailchimp, social media, and Google advertising a plus.

This job will be a combination of online store management, customer and vendor communication.

Responsibilities


Maintain the ecommerce website, product database, upload new products, generate product descriptions, and track inventory
Manage online store orders and communicate with shipping/fulfillment
Assist in creating and sharing promotional material through MailChimp and social media
Working with our graphic designers to assist with website, promotional material, and in-store branding
Upkeep of store and physical inventory
Product promotion through social media and digital advertising

Requirements


2+ years experience with one or more of the following: website management, ecommerce retail management
Recommended social media marketing advertising skills
Ability to confidently take on tasks and manage aspects of the business independently and proactively
Strong verbal communication and writing skills; this job requires frequent interactions with our vendors and customers online and in person, and working closely with other employees
Website and database management, and/or the ability to quickly learn new platforms
Proficiency with Google Drive, the Adobe Suite, Shopify & Mailchimp, and/or ability to learn new skills where needed
Recommended basic photography and photo editing skills; studio photography and Adobe Suite editing are a plus
Recommended graphic design skills working with the Adobe Suite
Experience with a POS system and retail sales
Recommended Website creation or coding skills
