The Job
We are seeking a Data Engineer - Azure AI Solutions for GMSTEK, specializing in managing moderate volumes of data to enable real-time transactional data analytics. This role is pivotal in leveraging advanced Microsoft technologies such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI, Dynamics 365, and Azure AI services like Azure Machine Learning and Azure Cognitive Services. Utilizing Microsoft’s Fabric and Document Intelligence Studio, the Data Engineer will ensure that our systems can provide immediate, actionable insights, enhancing operational decision-making and customer interactions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Data Architecture for Real-Time Analytics:
- Design and implement data structures optimized for quick access and real-time analysis using Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Manage data flows that support real-time transactional analytics, ensuring data is processed and available without delays.
- Business Intelligence and Real-Time Reporting:
- Utilize Power BI to develop real-time dashboards and reports that provide instant insights into business operations.
- Integrate real-time data feeds with Dynamics 365 to enhance business process automation and customer relationship management.
- AI-Driven Insights:
- Configure and maintain Azure Machine Learning pipelines to process and analyze data in real time.
- Employ Azure Cognitive Services to enhance data analysis, focusing on immediate application in business contexts.
- Collaboration and Innovation:
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure that data architecture and analytics capabilities meet real-time business requirements.
- Drive innovations that improve data responsiveness and operational efficiency.
Data Engineering Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure tools, particularly those supporting real-time data processing and analysis.
- Experience in designing and implementing systems for real-time transactional data analytics.
- Proficient in data integration techniques and tools, such as Microsoft Fabric and Document Intelligence Studio.
- Knowledgeable in scripting with SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- U.S. citizenship required due to government contract obligations.
Travel:
- Occasional travel may be required for collaboration with remote teams or stakeholders.
Location:
- This position is remote-eligible across North America, but candidates must be located in South Florida. This local presence will facilitate occasional in-person meetings and collaboration, ensuring alignment with our operational base and strategic needs.
