Grand Design RV is looking for a Service Paint and Body Technician to add to our Customer Service team. If you like working in a fast-paced environment, connect with purpose, execute with excellence, and are ready to transform the road ahead, we welcome you to begin your journey by applying today

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Perform body work on 5th wheels and travel trailers
  • Paint full units and non-paint units
  • Able to perform fiberglass repair and automotive paint repairs on RV's
  • Spray paints, primers and clear coat
  • Work with body fillers such as bondo, fiberglass, resin and epoxy
  • Must perform good housekeeping practices daily
  • Knowledge of paint materials and chemical safety
  • Able to work with little supervision
  • Track chemicals and supplied used
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of one year body paint
  • Minimum of one year body repair
  • RV and Automotive Collision
  • Paint material knowledge such as solvents, compounds and body fillers

Physical Demands

  • Climbing a ladder and/or scaffold
  • Reaching, twisting, bending, squatting, walking, pulling, pushing
  • Able to stand throughout duration of shift
