Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHarmonyTech Inc is seeking a highly skilled Application Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building custom web solutions using .NET, C#, Java, and Angular. This role involves supporting existing applications by addressing defects, making minor enhancements, and resolving system issues. This position is fully remote and requires US Citizenship.

As an Application Developer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the functionality and efficiency of our web applications. You will be responsible for writing and maintaining clean, scalable code, collaborating with other developers, and staying current with industry trends and technologies. You will also contribute to the design and architecture of new applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

This position is remote and requires US Citizenship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application Support: Address defects, implement minor enhancements, and resolve system issues for existing applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Development: Build and develop solutions using frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, TypeScript, and Node.js. Create high-quality, robust, and scalable web applications that meet client specifications.
  • Programming: Write and maintain code in HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3. Ensure code is clean, well-documented, and follows best practices.
  • Technical Solutions: Assist with developing, testing, configuring, and deploying technical solutions using both .NET and Java to address business needs. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaboration:Work independently and as part of an agile team to deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in code reviews, pair programming sessions, and collaborative problem-solving activities.
  • Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and technologies to bring innovative ideas to the team. Proactively identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
  • Compliance: Develop web applications and content that is compliant with Section 508 standards. Ensure all applications meet accessibility and usability standards.
  • Database Management: Develop and optimize SQL statements and stored procedures. Ensure efficient and secure data handling and storage.
Required Skills
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant IT development experience.
Technical Proficiency:
  • Hands-on experience with .NET, C#, Java, Angular, and SQL Server programming.
  • Experience in developing SQL statements and stored procedures.
  • Proficient in developing web applications and content compliant with Section 508 standards.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an agile team.
Desirable Skills:
  • Certifications: Applicable developer certifications are a plus.
  • Government Experience: Experience supporting federal government customers is highly desirable.
  • Clearance: Active federal government public trust clearance is an advantage.
Education:

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
