Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Buncher Company is seeking a skilled Commercial Carpenter to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA, USA We are looking for someone with an eye for construction techniques and the ability to carry out smaller projects efficiently. Being successful in this role requires a great attitude, determination, and strong communication skills. As a Commercial Carpenter, you will be responsible for assembling and maintaining framework and fittings, whilst ensuring that all safety regulations are adhered to.Compensation:

$24 - $26 hourly

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, repair, and finish building frameworks and structures according to blueprints, drawings, and sketches
  • Transform office and warehouse spaces into new designs
  • Construct and fill building foundations
  • Install doors, windows, drywall, and flooring
  • Maintain health and safety standards while working with minimal supervision
Qualifications:

  • 3-5 yrs. experience in commercial construction/remodeling
  • Good understanding of basic math
  • Physical ability to operate hand & power tools, work from ladders/scaffolding, and lift over 50 lbs.
  • Operate commercial vehicles such as dump trucks, forklifts, and skid loaders
  • Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.)
  • Welding experience a plus
