We are currently seeking experienced Carpenters who are interested in passing on their knowledge by making connections and training students as an instructor. No teaching experience is required. The ideal candidate will be comfortable speaking in front of students, have an engaging personality along with the ability to build rapport with students.

The objective of the new Carpentry program is to prepare individuals for entry level employment in the carpentry and construction industries. The program is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience required to become proficient carpenters. The program focuses on teaching fundamental carpentry techniques, safety protocols, and industry best practices. Students will be trained in rough framing and formwork, finish interior and exterior applications, as well as basic understanding of other building systems applicable to residential and commercial applications.

Successful candidates will thrive taking ownership in developing and instructing courses that will include hands-on training and real-world projects - allowing students to put their theoretical knowledge into practice. Students may engage in constructing small buildings, framing structures, building cabinets, and other practical assignments under the guidance of experienced carpentry instructors.

All instruction is onsite at our expanded school facilities in Pittsburgh PA, and is full-time (M-Th 7am to 3:15pm, with occasional scheduled Fridays). We’d love to speak with you to see if Rosedale Technical College might be the next exciting step in your career
