Accounts Payable Specialist
A company based in downtown Santa Fe is looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist.
Duties would include:
- Managing accounts payable using MRI accounting software, Excel and other
- Manages deposits.
- Interface with Corporate accounting.
- Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors.
- Review and verify vendor statements as needed.
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
- Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
- Processing due invoices for payments.
- Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts.
- Maintain 1099 vendor files for accuracy and up to date W9's for tax reporting.
- Management and reconciliation of multiple credit card accounts.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies with vendor invoices.
- Special projects.
Skills required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Team Player.
- Current accounting software -
- Ability to learn quickly, develop efficiency and meet deadlines.
Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
- Accounting/Bookkeeping - 2 years preferred.
- Must provide current/active identification to work in the United States.
