We’re looking for a reliable Chassis Mechanic with Diesel and welding experience to install, maintain and repair company vehicles. As a Mechanic, you should be experienced in diesel engines, troubleshooting and repairing vehicles. In this role, you should have the ability to work independently handling tasks like compression tests, fuel systems repairs, electrical repairs, recreational vehicles and more. The goal is to ensure the quality and safety of all services provided. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairs to all makes and models of diesel machinery. You may be required to find ways to complete repairs in a money-saving manner.


Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble and reassemble heavy equipment and components.
  • Adjust, repair or replace defective components or assemblies.
  • Reconnect and test hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure proper functioning.
  • Adjust tire pressure to recommended levels.
  • Maintain and perform DOT and FMCSA inspections

Required and Preferred Skills/Abilities:

  • Welding experience
  • Familiar with DOT and FMCSA regulations
  • Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Able to work flexible hours
  • Familiar with 90 Day BIT Inspections and Annual FMCSA Inspections 
  • Familiar with tire replacement and patching

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.50 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
