Role Impact: As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will have a direct impact on optimizing production operations across key performance metrics—safety, quality, delivery, and cost—ensuring superior product output and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Integration and Setup: Lead the introduction of new products to the manufacturing floor, from design for manufacturability reviews to final layout and setup.
  • Daily Operational Enhancement: Work alongside production associates and leadership to achieve daily targets in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Cost Reduction Initiatives: Identify opportunities for cost reduction, participate in budget analysis, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Problem Solving: Engage in troubleshooting, conduct failure analysis, and implement corrective actions to maintain production integrity.
  • Lean Manufacturing Leadership: Act as a VBS Champion, promoting and implementing Lean tools and initiatives to improve process efficiencies.
  • Automation and Programming: Manage and optimize CNC programs, and maintain robotic welding, turrets, and press brakes.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, CAD (SolidWorks), and CNC programming.
  • Demonstrated experience in robotic welding and manufacturing automation.
  • Effective purchasing and negotiation skills.
