**Job Summary:**
CLW located in Warren, OH, is seeking a full-time, Payroll Specialist to join our team. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll in an efficient and accurate manner for both employees and clients performing work at CLW and reports to the Human Resources Director.

CLW first opened its' doors in 2008 as a day program provider for individuals with developmental disabilities. Since then, we have grown to operate 11 separate locations throughout Ohio, as well as a Community Employment department that operates in over 20 counties.

**Qualifications:**

  • Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role
  • Knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and best practices
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

**Essential Functions:**

  • Maintains office operations and procedures; processes bi-weekly payroll accurately and timely; assists in entering employee data into the HRIS and timekeeping software; performs various administrative duties as assigned.
  • Calculate wage adjustments
  • Calculate monthly/quarterly bonuses.
  • Compiles payroll reports for management
  • Ensures DOL and Ohio wage/hour compliance and assists with payroll standards/audits/questions.
  • Completes census and EEO reports if necessary.
  • Primary IT vendor contact. Assists with maintenance of Company network, data storage, login’s, equipment and software service, etc.
  • Vehicles: maintains Company vehicle log (locations and insurance), vehicle titles, vehicle ordering/leasing and managing trade-in vehicles, vehicle registration or renewal questions/problems, maintenance and inspections.
  • Back up to the Office Manager. May be required to assist with Accounts Payable & Receivable and processing of Company use and sales tax.
  • Retains, protects, retrieves, transfers, and disposes of records per the Company Records Retention Policy or other relevant Company policies.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Corporate Office team.
  • Travel may be required as needed.
