Become a pivotal member of our pioneering team as an XR Developer, specializing in Input Technology. Your enthusiasm and know-how in extended reality (XR) are key as we navigate the forefront of immersive computing. Engaging with our team dedicated to hands, body, and gesture recognition, your role will be critical in devising and refining user-defined gesture functionalities. This includes enhancing both runtime environments and toolsets to empower creators, enabling them to deploy remarkable experiences across Unity's broad XR platform spectrum, ranging from smartphone AR and VR to AR head-mounted displays and even future, unrevealed devices.

Your objective will be to innovate and refine XR Input technologies, with a special focus on hands, body, and gestures, extending to the foundational platform APIs that facilitate these features. Additionally, you'll be tasked with developing and enhancing user-friendly workflows, aimed at unlocking the full potential of XR applications. Requirements

  • Innovate and develop from scratch, focusing on user-friendly workflows for hands, body, and gestures.
  • Engineer a cohesive API for use across diverse platforms, enabling developers to create once and deploy universally.
  • Forge partnerships with internal teams and external platform providers, ensuring developers have extensive deployment options.
  • Ensure product excellence in collaboration with Quality Assurance teams.
  • Actively participate in the development community, contributing to code reviews, product enhancement, and strategic planning.

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong foundation in software engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in C++ and C#, with experience in bridging the two.
  • A practical understanding of Unity and a keen interest in XR development.
  • Outstanding team collaboration and communication skills, backed by a proactive approach to work.

Nice to Have:

  • In-depth knowledge of geometry and linear algebra.
  • Skills in profiling and optimization tasks.
  • Familiarity with 3D graphics rendering.
