Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to join our team contingent upon contract award. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in project management and Agile methodologies, with relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or Agile Certified Practitioner.

In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating the Agile development process and guiding two teams through the implementation of Scrum practices. Your ability to foster a collaborative, high-performing environment will be essential to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Guide and coach two teams on Agile and Scrum practices to ensure efficient delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and manage the product backlog.
  • Monitor team progress and identify areas for improvement, implementing necessary changes to improve productivity and quality.
  • Remove impediments and blockers to ensure smooth progress for the development teams.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the teams.
  • Act as a liaison between development teams and stakeholders, facilitating communication and alignment.
  • Monitor and report team performance metrics and progress to management and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the integration of Agile practices and values across the organization.
  • Provide mentorship and training to team members and stakeholders on Agile methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner, or other relevant Agile certifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role, with experience managing multiple teams simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Extensive demonstrated experience with Atlassian (Jira/Confluence)
  • Experience working in the Healthcare IT field, CMS in particular, is a plus.
  • Demonstrated Knowledge and Experience with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)

Clearance Requirements

  • This role requires the hired candidate to go through public clearance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of stay in the U.S. within the last 5 years is a must to be eligible to qualify for public trust clearance sponsorship. 


Education / Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
