TURN Community Services in Midvale City, UT is looking to hire a full-time Personal Care Attendant. This entry-level caregiving position requires no experience and earns a competitive wage of $16.50/hour, plus a $600 sign-on bonus. We provide fantastic benefits, including:

YOUR HOURS AS A PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT

Monday-Friday 8:15 am - 3:15 pm, with a staff meeting every other Friday 3 pm - 4 pm.

YOUR ROLE AS A PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT

As a Personal Care Attendant, you support people with developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible. With enthusiasm, you assist with self-care, hygiene, motor skills, vocational skills, work habits, and community inclusion. You're flexible and always willing to help with behavior management and recreational activities as well. You have an absolute blast getting to know our clients

Using effective mentoring techniques, you support our clients with their day-to-day schedules. You're always sure to model appropriate social skills and behaviors. If there are ever any concerns about health or safety, you're quick to report them. You find it incredibly rewarding to help these amazing individuals - the added fun that you have with them is the icing on the cake

WOULD YOU BE A GREAT PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT?

You might be a good fit if you meet the following qualifications:

  • 18+ years of age
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle
  • A heart for serving people with developmental disabilities
  • Must be able to drive and willing to drive large vans for transport and activities

No experience is required for this entry-level role Are you calm, flexible, and patient? Can you work well as part of a team? Do you love the idea of making a difference in your community? If yes, you might just be perfect for this full- or part-time caregiving position

Formerly known as Project TURN, we were founded in 1973 by a group of parents who wanted better services for their adult children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Now known as TURN Community Services, we provide resources to more than 850 individuals with developmental disabilities. With locations from Brigham City to St. George, we offer a full range of services including day programs, residential living, art center programs, summer camp, and supported employment opportunities.
