Job Description:

As a Senior Financial Analyst - Real Estate at Augmentjobs, you will play a critical role in driving the financial performance and strategic growth of the company's real estate portfolio. This role requires a deep understanding of real estate finance, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate, analyze, and report on real estate investments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis & Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze real estate investment opportunities, including acquisition, disposition, and development projects.

  • Portfolio Management: Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of existing real estate assets, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial projections for real estate investments, ensuring alignment with company goals.

  • Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research and due diligence to support investment decisions, including analysis of market trends, property performance, and competitive landscape.

  • Investment Evaluation: Evaluate potential real estate investments, conducting financial analysis, risk assessments, and return on investment (ROI) calculations to support strategic decision-making.

  • Reporting & Presentations: Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, communicating insights, recommendations, and financial performance.

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the real estate team and other departments to develop and implement strategic plans for portfolio growth and optimization.

  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all financial analyses and transactions comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, identifying and mitigating potential risks.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems related to real estate finance, driving efficiencies and improving accuracy.

Required Skills:

  • Real Estate Finance: Extensive knowledge of real estate finance, including valuation methods, investment analysis, and market dynamics.

  • Financial Modeling: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, with the ability to create complex, dynamic models for real estate investments.

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.

  • Market Research: Ability to conduct thorough market research and analysis, understanding economic factors, market trends, and competitive landscapes in the real estate sector.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring the reliability of financial models, reports, and analyses.

  • Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with various departments.

  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technology Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial software, and real estate-specific tools (e.g., Argus).

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of real estate regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in financial analysis within the real estate industry.

  • Proven track record of success in real estate investment analysis, portfolio management, and strategic planning.
