Senior Financial Systems Analyst:


Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the financial systems in order to support business processes and operational needs
  • Coordinate the preparation of company financials to ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyzing financial results, understanding key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating/presenting key messages to senior finance leadership
  • Strong partnership with the Accounting and BI teams to ensure timely and accurate data reporting
  • Support the accounting team in the month end close process, assisting with variance analysis as needed and owning the process from financial system integration to financial consolidation
  • Month-end reporting (hand-in-hand with financial systems)
  • Adaptive/systems administrator
  • Ability to review below the line and identify cash impacting opportunities/hindrances
  • Subscription revenue and serve as a close partner with Revenue Accounting
  • FRP – they would own the whole package
  • Cost center process and other cross-functional process initiatives
  • Ad hoc presentations and models


Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • 3+ years’ experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, etc.
  • Experience working with and analyzing financial statements and relevant financial metrics
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience in working with and administering EPM tools (specifically Adaptive Insights) a plus
  • Prior work experience in high growth technology and / or SaaS organization preferred
  • Experience in software and recurring revenue models preferred
  • Ability to work in large datasets without losing sight of the “big picture”
  • Self-starter that adapts well to change in a fast-paced, unstructured workplace and is comfortable making recommendations or decisions in environments of uncertainty
  • Working knowledge of financial theory and GAAP
  • Prior experience with Adaptive Insights preferred
