Responsibilities:
As a Therapist / Clinician, you will:
- Perform client assessments, create care plans, provide therapy, and develop discharge plans.
- Offer culturally competent, trauma-informed individual and family therapeutic services both in-community and via telehealth.
- Maintain client records through an electronic health recording system and handle additional duties as requested by DCF related to client records.
- Attend team meetings and in-service training sessions and maintain direct service requirements as required by DCF.
Requirements:
- Education: Master's degree in social work, Mental Health and Professional Counseling, or an equivalent field from an accredited college or university.
- Must be licensed as one of the following: LAC, LSW, LAMFT, LCSW, LSW, LPC
- Experience: Two years of experience in mental health, including experience with diverse populations in an urban setting. Familiarity with the child welfare system, complex trauma, cultural competence, and some experience with children and families.
- Valid New Jersey driver's license, safe driving record, and vehicle availability are required.
