Metro PT is looking for a motivated, compassionate, forward-thinking licensed Medical Massage Therapist. You will perform massage therapy techniques to control pain, reduce stress, and promote systemic wellness. You will also assess any problems or conditions and suggest appropriate massage techniques based on the current health of the patient.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs professional quality medical massages
  • Designs specific sessions and treatment plans based on patients’ individual needs
  • Assists in the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a regular basis
  • Performs hot stone, deep muscle, or prenatal therapy, based on appropriate training and minimum clinic education hours
  • Completes Wellness Chart documentation accurately and completely

Job Type: Per Diem

Setting: Outpatient

Pay: $75 per session

Requirements:


Who You Are

  • A NY state licensed Medical Massage Therapist with a proven track record of positive outcomes and a willingness to learn and grow as a therapist
  • Experienced in a rehabilitation setting preferred, with ability to properly document services rendered in our EMR system
  • A passionate therapist looking to connect with your community, create a unique and innovative patient experience and establish meaningful connections
  • Capable of building strong rapport with clients from a variety of backgrounds through strong communication and empathy
  • Ability to utilize new technology and software changes in the industry to enhance the client’s engagement and increase efficiency
