Sheet Metal Technician

We are seeking a Sheet Metal Technician for a custom fabrication company in Leominster, Massachusetts. This is a first shift opportunity, overtime possibilities are available if desired.

Responsibilities:
- Fabricate metal components according to blueprints and specifications using hand tools, power tools, and machinery
- Utilize press brake machine and punch press
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and fit metal parts
- Apply basic math skills to measure, cut, and align materials accurately
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and diagrams for fabrication projects
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a fabricator, welder, or other related experience
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications

Skills:
- Experience operating a press brake machine
- Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment setup and maintenance
- Ability to effectively use hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Understanding of ductwork fabrication processes
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
