Billing CoordinatorSummary: The Billing Coordinator manages billing processes for various programs within the assigned region, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial guidelines.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process billing documentation for all programs.
  • Maintain and update internal tracking systems and databases.
  • Perform data entry with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Organize and maintain billing documents and tracking.
  • Collaborate closely with program supervisors and therapists to ensure accurate billing.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Regional Director and/or Deputy Director.
Qualifications:Education and Experience:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Two years of relevant experience in medical billing and human resources; behavioral health experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and claims management.
  • Familiarity with employee benefit programs such as 401K and health insurance.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems, preferably Millennial software.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Valid California Driver's License and insurable under company policy.
Essential Competencies:
  • Customer Service: Ability to manage challenging situations and respond promptly to customer needs.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Maintain confidentiality, resolve conflicts constructively, and remain open to new ideas.
  • Oral and Written Communication: Clear communication skills in both verbal and written forms; adept at presenting and interpreting information effectively.
