POSITION SUMMARY (Briefly describe the purpose of the position)

Perform process development and improvement directly resulting in increased efficiency and quality on the production floor. This will be achieved through process documentation, process verification, operator training, and equipment and process troubleshooting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE (List in order of importance)

  • Support Production in regards to any process or equipment-related issues.
  • Responsible for generating and verifying process and equipment recipes and set ups.
  • Assess existing processes and identify areas of improvement and solutions for these systems.
  • Identify and implement quality, efficiency, and yield improvements.
  • Support Engineering in all functions relating to new or existing processes.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to Production personnel.
  • Provide thorough and accurate documentation and reporting in regards to processes and equipment in a clear and presentable format.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions related to process failures.
  • Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE (List as required or preferred)

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.

Experience: One-year related experience required. Three-year experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Proficient understanding of semiconductor Die Prep processes.
  • Experience in wafer thinning, dicing, pick and place and/or inspection.
  • Good documentation skills and good multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to be self-motivated and independent.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to learn, program, and operate various types of equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
