POSITION SPECIFIC DETAILS:

Hours: 25 hours/week

Payrate: $16.21/hour

SUMMARY
The Nutrition Services Provider l will promote high nutritional standards at Reach Dane Reach Green, reports to an NSP lll and supports a single-site location. Responsible in the areas of food preparation, food service, clean-up and site sanitation. This position will follow food service and preparation guidelines based on the agency menu cycle as well as state and federal regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
  • Follow recipes, and verbal instructions to prepare food per Head Start compliance
  • At least one-year experience in food preparation
  • Bilingual, particularly Spanish or Hmong is helpful
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Must be willing to have a tuberculosis skin test at the time of hire.
  • Successfully pass a physical examination that verifies the employee is free from communicable disease and is physically able to perform required job responsibilities.
  • Experience with low-income and populations of diverse culture preferred
