Urgent Care Veterinary Assistant    

AcutePet Urgent Care is seeking veterinary assistants to join us in opening a new urgent care center in West Chester, Ohio, as we build healthy and sustainable environments that are dedicated to our local communities, all while respecting life outside of work.  The possibilities are endless - come help define the future of veterinary medicine, developing a great team from the ground up  

At AcutePet Urgent Care, our DVM founders and owners share a combined 60 years of veterinary experience as clinicians, hospital creators, and executive operators.  Our leadership team is comprised of professionals with extensive veterinary experience.  We’re reimagining the current veterinary landscape with an employee-centric focus where teams feel valued, respected, and heard. AcutePet Urgent Care aspires to give pet owners access to exceptional urgent care for their beloved pets, while working with our teams, and the profession at-large, to ensure that access to high quality veterinary care is sustainable into the future.  Our DVMs will help provide a seamless connection between primary and emergency care, changing the way veterinary care is sought out and delivered.

Qualifications: Ideal candidates are passionate about providing colleagues, clients, and their pets with a great experience, while having fun at work. Experience as a veterinary assistant is a plus but not a deal breaker.

Compensation and Benefits:    

  • Our full suite of benefits includes 100% company-paid employee health, dental, and life insurance premiums. Additional employer sponsored vision, disability insurance and many other offerings 

  • No overnights or major holidays. Plus, your birthday is a paid holiday 

  • Our weekly schedules include built-in time for personal and team well-being and development. 

  • Up to six weeks of paid parental/adoptive leave. 

  • Paid time off to allow you to maintain a healthy balance of work and personal time. 

  • Compensation includes $16-22 hourly base pay, plus eligibility to participate in our all staff profit sharing. 

  • Ongoing training and continuing education.
