Constellation ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to work with children on the autism spectrum providing one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming in the school-based setting in Derby.


This is a FULL-TIME position with benefits


WHAT DOES A BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN DO?

  • Implements one-on-one ABA program developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in the client's school setting
  • Assists clients with behavior, social and academic skills during the school day
  • Collects and reports data for target behaviors to assigned BCBA supervisor
  • Participates in behavior management programming for assigned clients
  • Participates in school-led professional development and acts as a member of the school staff
  • Participates in team building activities, meetings and ongoing training


WHAT IS REQUIRED?

  • Experience working with children (preferably children with autism and/or special needs)
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and own viable transportation
  • Travel to and from assigned client schools
  • RBT Certification
  • Availability Monday-Friday during school hours
