Griffin Hospital seeks a skilled Operating Room Technician to assist in the surgical suite during operative procedures. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, performing various duties and responsibilities to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Main Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room, including setting up equipment and supplies.
Provide patient care and support during surgical procedures, including vital sign monitoring and documentation.
Perform routine and stat blood draws, as required.
Assist with unit clerk activities, such as answering phone calls and transcribing orders.
Requirements:
Must have patient care experience, with 5 years preferred.
CNA or PCT certification required.
Work Schedule:
Evening/Day, 36 hours per week.
