Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting Policies and Procedures: Establish and enforce policies to ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting within a robust internal control framework.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and optimize cash-on-hand levels, and oversee daily cash flow reports.
- Budgeting: Lead the development and management of property and departmental budgets, including capital expenditures.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of financial statements and reports, providing insights to directors and managers as needed.
- Financial Reporting: Direct the timely preparation and distribution of monthly financial statements and quarterly financial reports in compliance with bank reporting and covenant requirements.
- Departmental Standards: Define departmental standards, guidelines, and objectives to ensure effective planning and operational efficiency across assigned areas.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure meticulous tracking and timely filing of regulatory documents, including gaming taxes, 1099s, 1042s, and W-2Gs.
- Gaming Operations Review: Perform detailed analytical reviews of gaming operations, focusing on compliance and accuracy in theoretical and actual win calculations.
- Promotions Analysis: Lead the analysis of promotions and gaming operations to assess their financial impacts on the casino.
- Annual Audit Report: Oversee and manage the preparation and issuance of the Annual Audit Report.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 30 semester credit hours of accounting AND either MBA, CPA or CMA preferred.
- Five years’ experience as an Accounting Manager, Revenue Audit Manager, Assistant Controller or Controller required.
- Gaming environment experience preferred.
- Must pass a background check.
