Kitchen Assistant

We are currently seeking seasonal Kitchen Assistant for the Sunset Point Camp program located in Hull.

The Kitchen Assistant is responsible for helping the cook prepare and serve meals, cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen and camp eating areas. The Kitchen Assistant will work along side the Camp Cook to ensure safe preparation and serving of all meals served to campers and staff. This position helps with the camp laundry needs and other areas that need sanitizing and disinfecting and include camper and staff bathroom areas.

Qualifications include

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Enrolled in high school.
• Possess ServeSafe Food Handler and Allergen certification.
• Certified in First Aid/CPR/AED by a nationally recognized organization.
• Experience working with latency age youth.
• Ability to communicate, follow directions both orally and written.
• Good disposition and patience with latency youth.
