We are looking for a Software Engineer to help design, develop, test, and support custom business software solutions. This person will assist with requirements definition, overall software architecture, as well as participate in design and coding. Being able to work collaboratively within project teams to meet customer defined success criteria while achieving a high level of customer satisfaction is a key component in this role.

Duties Include:

  • Perform data conversions, build integrations, and create reports;

  • Troubleshoot and fix application and data issues – provide training, assistance, and guidance to end users and Cargas Team on functions and use of software;

  • Accomplish tasks within project budget and timeline;

  • Meet individual and team revenue and service goals;

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field;

  • 1-10 years’ experience in programming and/or software development;

  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Professional/Technical Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;

  • Ability to learn Cargas Solutions, including Cargas Software, Dynamics 365, Intacct, and Business Central;

  • Skills in designing and building full stack, web-based and database software;

  • Knowledge of SQL and programming languages;

  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills with technical challenges;

  • Knowledge of database concepts, business process flow, business intelligence, and software installation;

  • Skills in working with people, customer service;

  • Read, write, understand and speak English fluently.
