Human Resources Representative

As the only independent and physician-led faculty practice plan of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, University Clinical Health (UCH) offers best-in-class clinical care through a network of 175+ providers across 19 specialties to meet the healthcare needs of the Mid-South community. UCH is a not-for-profit, non-tax-supported group practice and is here to serve the community while providing medical excellence to our patients.
Key Results Areas (KRAs):
· Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and offboarding. Facilitate new hire orientation
· Maintain accurate active employee files across multiple platforms including employee correspondence, data changes, and forms
· Support talent acquisition activities (i.e. job postings; candidate phone screen; internal transfers; etc.) and applicant tracking system (ATS) maintenance
· Ensure COVID vaccination cards are submitted and verified by the Quality Leaders
· Establish relationships with staffing agencies; schools; job centers; etc. to assist with recruiting efforts
· Assign 30-day Stay Surveys and 90-day Initial Performance Evaluations
· Employee Relations triage under the direction of the Human Resources Business Partner
· Assist employees with benefits elections during open enrollment, new hire, and life-change events, as needed under the direction of the Benefits Administrator
· Resource for general inquiries from employees and people leaders referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR staff member
· Complete Monthly KChecks OIG Reporting
· Provide various staffing and workforce reports, as requested
· Process Invoices (UT Parking; Staffing Agencies; Background check vendors, etc.)
· Maintain accurate job descriptions and perform pre and post-employment processes
· Support various special and ad hoc projects for the Human Resources business unit
· Ensure consistency in the enforcement of policies and procedures
· Perform other duties as assigned based on Human Resources business unit and UCH organizational needs

· Demonstrates a strong commitment to the mission and values of the Human Resources business unit and UCH
· Adheres to University Clinical Health and departmental policies and procedures, including attendance standard
Requirements:· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, desired
· Strongly preferred, direct experience working in Human Resources healthcare environment
· 2 years of experience working in progressive and agile administrative/corporate department
