Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Lead Software Engineer to join the Enterprise Application & Cloud Transformation team to realize a world-class, next-gen Contact Center as a Service solution for the firm. This role will focus on creating an innovative and efficient customer and agent experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex technology Cloud initiatives with broad impact across the company.
  • Act as a key contributor in automating the provisioning of Cloud Infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Develop standards and companywide best practices for engineering and large-scale technology solutions.
  • Design, optimize, and document the engineering aspects of the Cloud platform.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies, leading the technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions in Cloud to achieve strategic business objectives and solve technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with key technical experts, senior technology team members, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Build and enable cloud infrastructure, automating the orchestration of the entire Azure/GCP Cloud Platforms.
  • Work in a globally distributed team to provide innovative and robust Cloud-centric solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience with JAVA, Spring Boot, Kafka, Distributed Caches (GemFire, Redis), Elastic Search technologies, GraphQL, and NoSQL Databases (Cassandra or MongoDB), Graph Databases, Public Cloud Marketplace services.
  • 3+ years of experience in full-stack application development, including real-time low latency front-end Web applications (React, Redux, RXJS, Typescript, progressive Web Apps with responsive design, Rest APIs, real-time eventing gRPC, or Web Sockets using Micro front-end architecture).
  • Deep experience in Domain Driven Design with cloud-native Microservices designed and developed for massive scale and seamless resiliency, deployed on PCF/VMWare Tanzu, K8s, or Serverless cloud technologies.
  • Sound knowledge of automated testing frameworks for Java/Python and UI Micro services, Service Virtualization, Contract Testing, API Testing with Blazemeter/JMeter, WebRTC signaling and audio testing, and chaos resiliency automated testing.
  • System-level testing through code (unit-level testing) and experience identifying and developing automation frameworks and synthetic tests.
  • 5+ years of experience, including 3+ years working with GCP or other public/hybrid cloud with a proven track record.
  • Experience in Agile environments, product backlog refinement, and process improvements to accelerate software development.
  • Expertise in NFR aspects for mission-critical solutions at scale, leading software development teams, and instrumenting backlogs with shift-left practices.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with TrueCD, DevOps with Cucumber, Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and GitHub, and familiarity with modern IaC/EaC pipelines.
  • Experience with scripting and infrastructure automation (Python/Go, Shell, Gherkin, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Change Management, procedural and process-driven environments to maintain strong risk and control posture.
  • Proven experience in accelerated integration through cookbooks and blueprints, and de-risking approaches with shift-left practices.
  • Professional cloud certification on Azure/GCP or other cloud providers.
  • Ability to rationalize risk controls into policy outcomes.
  • Understanding of GCP or Public Cloud or AI Governance approaches and solutions.
  • Knowledge of Network Security, Enterprise Architecture, and OWASP Security practices exemplified through previous projects.
