Our Digital Large Format Print Department is a fast-paced environment that doesn't sacrifice quality. The Lead Print Coordinator position acts as the conductor managing workflow throughout the day.

That's where you come in.

You must be detail-oriented, organized, and have experience working in a fast-paced environment. You will operate digital printing equipment from popular manufacturers such as HP, Mimaki, Summa and Graphtec. Here at H.C. Brands we use Onyx RIP software to ensure that products are produced and shipped according to the order specifications and production schedules.

This position requires you to be tech-savvy, be a problem solver, and have the ability to lead the team.

 
What you'll do:
  • Sort, prioritize, and complete work orders according to production schedules.
  • Direct and motivate the large format production and shipping team.
  • Operate large format printers including HP and Mimaki.
  • Other equipment you will operate includes Summa and Graphtec cutters.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Troubleshoot performance problems and adjust settings to ensure quality output.
  • Make improvements to the work environment for safer and more efficient output.
  • Remain flexible to perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
  • Organize the production environment to maximize productivity.

    • We depend on our Operators to review the products being produced with accuracy and quality.
  • Have working computer literacy. 
    • You will have knowledge in the use of graphic design programs, including Adobe products and other art-based software such as Corel Draw.
  • Have the ability to communicate in English.
    •  You will be collaborating with numerous departments and the ability to communicate in English will be needed.
  • · Preferred experience in a similar role. 
    • Past Design and Sign/Print shop experience preferable.
  • · Have the ability to lift 75 lbs.
  • It would be beneficial but not required:
    •  to have a degree in graphic design or visual communications.
  • Have digital print knowledge.
    •  We use Onyx RIP software to prepare files for digital printing.
