AKABA LLC. welcomes reliable and enthusiastic professionals to join us as a part-time ABA Therapists or Behavior Technicians.  Our dynamic therapists provide 1-to-1 ABA services in the client homes, AKABA center, and community settings to help kids reach meaningful goals such as building social skills, communication skills, and learning to manage challenging behaviors.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 -$23.00 per hour to start -pay increases by $1.00-$3.00 over a 3-6 month period.

  • Completed the RBT coursework? RBT Certificants start at $22.00/hour and up. 

Travel: Our team focuses on assigning cases as locally as possible. Travel time pay and mileage reimbursements are available (when applicable).


Qualifications:

ABA Therapists enjoy working with children and have an interest in the field of psychology. Knowledge of and experience with Applied Behavior Analysis is a plus, but not a requirement.


Responsibilities:

ABA Therapists work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and are directly responsible for:


  • Data collection
  • Implementing individualized behavior support plans
  • Implementing skill acquisition programs
  • Working with families for effective collaboration on client
  • Submitting all required paperwork promptly
  • Attending monthly case review meetings with their direct supervisor

Additional qualifications for the ABA Therapists position include:


  • Friendly and energetic, enjoy working with children.
  • Experience working with children diagnosed with developmental disabilities (preferably Autism)
  • Ability to attend an initial orientation.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 10-15 hours/at least 3 days per week (weekdays are after school hours between 3-8 p.m. and daytime hours on Saturdays)
  • Has reliable transportation
  • Must be timely and organized.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations.


Required education for an ABA Therapists


  • High school or equivalent


Required license or certification:


  • Driver's License


Job Location: Metro Worcester Area


Required experience:


  • Working with Kids or Teens: minimum 6 months
