What Youll Do:


We are seeking an experienced Large/wide format operator to join our printing team. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Large/wide format printers and related equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. Youll be organized and great at prioritizing, organizing, and planning orders to see each job through completion and be able to meet deadlines. Youll play a pivotal role in Ultimaxs continued growth and success

Day to day you will:


  • Run 2 flatbed and 1 Roll to Roll printers, including setting up and calibrating according to job specifications.
  • Monitor print jobs to ensure quality and consistency throughout the production process.
  • Maintain organization with multiple projects, prioritize workflow, adhere to timelines, and meet deadlines
  • Load and unload materials, such as vinyl, paper, and fabric, into the printing equipment.
  • Observe machines in operation and make adjustments as needed
  • Identify workable production solutions when troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with graphic designers and production team members to ensure accurate color matching and print quality.
  • Maintain inventory of printing supplies and materials, and reorder as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Keep accurate records of production activities, including job details and materials used.
  • Assist with other production tasks and projects as needed.
Your Background:


To be successful in this role you likely have:

  • Previous experience operating wide format printers or similar printing equipment
  • Knowledge of printing technologies, including inkjet and UV printing, and RIP software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment.
  • High school diploma or higher
