A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TRUCK BUILDER - MECHANIC

As a Truck Builder – Mechanic, you keep our clients' trucks rolling and running smoothly. You roll up your sleeves and perform a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks on the vehicles, including working on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems. As you complete your repairs, you keep an eye out for any potential future problems and address those as well.

Very carefully, you help your team with heavy lifting tasks like mounting hook lifts. As needed, you also fabricate parts for the vehicles. Every day brings new problems for you to solve, and you are up to the challenge. You take pride in performing this essential service and in taking such excellent care of our specialized vehicles


QUALIFICATIONS FOR A TRUCK BUILDER - MECHANIC

  • Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Welding experience
  • Familiarity with heavy trucks
  • Mechanical aptitude and repair skills
  • Ability to lift 50 - 100 pounds and work on your feet

Are you observant and detail-oriented? Can you successfully work independently and with a team? Are you highly motivated to succeed? Do you have exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills? Are you punctual and reliable? If yes, you might just be perfect for this vehicle maintenance position


WORK SCHEDULE FOR A TRUCK BUILDER - MECHANIC

This position typically works Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
