About Us:
At Exceptional Pediatric Therapy, LLC, we are dedicated to empowering children to achieve their fullest potential through comprehensive and compassionate care. Our multidisciplinary team is passionate about providing individualized therapy to children in a supportive, family-centered environment. We are seeking a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team and contribute to the growth and development of our pediatric clients. Therapy services are provided in our office, daycares and ABA centers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans designed by a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to help children improve their fine motor, sensory, and cognitive skills.
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to help children achieve functional independence in daily activities.
- Document patient progress, maintain accurate and detailed therapy notes, and report findings to the supervising OT.
- Collaborate with the OT to modify treatment plans as needed to meet patient goals.
- Educate and guide families and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and activities for home practice.
- Create a fun, engaging, and safe therapy environment for children.
- Collaborate with other professionals within our practice to provide a holistic approach to patient care.

Qualifications:
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Texas.
- Bilingual skills a plus (English/Spanish preferred).
- Previous experience working with pediatric patients is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
- A patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Basic proficiency with computers and ability to maintain proper documentation.
