  • The shift will be M-F 8:30am-4:30pm.
  • The temps will conduct full psychosocial assessments, providing individual and group therapeutic interventions, as well as discharge planning.
  • The temp SW will work on an adult inpatient psychiatry unit at Hospital.
  • The temp social worker will be available to work Monday-Friday 8.30am-4:30pm.
  • In adult inpatient psychiatry, social workers function as part of the interdisciplinary team providing care to patients experience acute psychiatric symptoms meeting criteria
    for involuntary admission to the hospital under NYS mental hygiene law.
  • Tasks include full psychosocial assssment, providing individual and group therapeutic interventions, comprehensive discharge planning, and coordination with external providers and family.
Shift Timings: 08:30 AM EST - 04:30 PM EST Hours Per Day: 8.00
Hours Per Week: 40.00
Days Per Week: 5.00
