We are seeking a talented Application Data Architect to join our team and work on IT projects for our client's trading desk. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Data Architecture.

Role and responsibilities
Your primary role will be to design data models, data destination solutions, and data integration. You are responsible for creating and implementing the blueprint for data infrastructure.
Data Architecture and Integration:
- Design and manage data architectures using Azure, AWS, and SQL Server.
- Integrate and migrate data across cloud and on-premises systems.
- Utilize message bus, REST APIs, and other integration methods.
Data Management:
- Develop scalable and secure data models, databases, and warehouses.
- Specialize in timeseries data for large dataset management.
- Optimize database performance and implement best practices.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensure data security with encryption and access controls.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaboration and Documentation:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet data requirements.
- Document data architectures and management processes comprehensively.
- Bachelor degree in Computer science, Engineering, Finance, or Quantitative Finance
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- Vast experience in data extraction and collection from websites, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms (AWS S3, Azure, Snowflake).
- Designing and architecting databases for performance, expansion, and flexibility.
- Heavy experience building complex user interfaces using JavaScript, React, or Angular with grid controls such as AG Grid or other similar grid controls.
- Deep knowledge of C#/.NET, Python, and R with the ability to learn new languages.
- Experience utilizing Azure and AWS cloud functions such as AWS Lambda.
- Working knowledge of ISO markets preferred, specifically storage operations in ERCOT and CAISO.
The salary range for this role is US$100,000 - US$140,000
