Day to day as An Activities Director

As a new Activities Director at Iuditas, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve creating and implementing innovative and engaging programs for our senior residents. You will collaborate with the care team to tailor activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating events, managing resources, and evaluating the success of each program to ensure a high level of resident satisfaction. Your role will require strong organizational skills, creativity, and a genuine passion for enriching the lives of seniors through meaningful activities.

What you need to be successful
  • To excel as an Activities Director at Iuditas, you must possess several key skills and qualifications. These include fluency in spoken and written English
  • A minimum of a high school diploma, and completion or scheduled attendance of the required 36-hour activity education course for Directors of Activities as per state regulations.
  • Furthermore, a minimum of one year of experience in planning programs for older adults or similar settings is necessary, with a preference for a college degree or relevant certification.
  • Basic computer skills for word processing and the ability to meet state-specific requirements are also essential for success in this role.
