Supply Chain Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company’s manufacturing goals and objectives.
- Forecast demand, plan production schedules, and manage inventory levels to meet customer requirements while minimizing costs.
- Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including supplier disruptions, transportation delays, and inventory shortages.
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Manage the sourcing and procurement of raw materials and components.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.
- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards and timely delivery.
Inventory Management
- Implement inventory management strategies to maintain accurate inventory levels, reduce waste, and improve turnover.
- Monitor and analyze inventory data.
Logistics & Distribution
- Manage logistics operations, inbound transportation, and warehousing.
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation of materials and products, optimizing routes and carrier selection.
- Oversee warehousing operations, ensuring proper storage, handling, and inventory accuracy.
Process Improvement & Efficiency
- Identify opportunities to streamline supply chain processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
- Implement best practices in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Lead cross-functional teams in projects aimed at improving supply chain performance.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies related to supply chain operations.
- Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance, including key metrics such as lead times, inventory levels, and cost savings.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain management.
Qualifications:
- Solid experience in leading and managing teams within a supply chain or manufacturing setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing.
- Professional certifications such as APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) are a plus.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
