From delivery to installation and assembly, demand for these services has grown significantly. Job Summary: Providing education and development opportunities to others. This can include creating and delivering training programs, coaching, and mentoring individuals, and designing and implementing learning strategies aimed at improving performance. Training professionals must have communication and interpersonal skills, as well as expertise in subject matter areas such as leadership development, technical skills, and process improvement. 

Location: This position is fully onsite at our call center in Amherst, NY.

Schedule: Regular Hours will be Monday -Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pm; This position does require flexibility with hours. Occasionally there will be evening shifts if we have a night time class, and possible weekend days if needed.

Compensation: $24.61-$39.39/hr is the starting range (Pay Bi-Weekly) This trainer is typically brought in around $25/hr. *A final amount is dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, knowledge, and location. Typically, selected candidates are hired at a rate between the minimum and midpoint of the range.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coach and develop team members
  • Developing and facilitating team building exercises and team meetings
  • Provide support to junior trainers
  • Helps with training new trainer on company policies and procedures
  • Create teaching materials including training plans, handouts and visual materials
  • Amend and revise materials and/or training programs as necessary in order to adapt to changes that occur
  • Facilitate the execution of all training plans including business and technical training for new hires and/or current employees
  • Plan, organize and implement a range of training activities
  • Present information using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures
  • Evaluate training effectiveness
  • Acts as a supportive resource fielding questions about a variety of training topics.
